Filming

There was a film crew in the neighborhood last week and one of their locations was the Vesta Lunch which I have shown before and most recently HERE in a shot taken at night. I'm not sure what the film was but I noticed that they have replaced the Vesta sign On the front of the awnings with "Filly Diner" signs so maybe something from Philadelphia? There was certainly a lot of action!

  5. Great fun watching a film crew. It would be interesting to know the name of the movie when it comes out, especially if you lived in Toronto.

  11. There's a film shoot going on here as well at the moment- I've seen the trucks around, and a couple of days ago one of the local churches had a spotlight set up outside before its main stained glass window, so I presume that it was being used for the shoot as well.

  14. Fine looking diner. Always fun to see a movie being shot. It takes so much longer than one might think just watching the film. A few seconds of film can take hours to get right.

  15. I can see why they picked this place to be in their film. A lot of character there!
