Steamwhistle brewery is a microbrewery located right downtown just south of the CN Tower in the old John St Roundhouse which was the steam locomotive repair facility for for Canadian Pacific Rail. This is the original 60,000 gallon water tower from the roundhouse and works well for pointing out where to go for a tour of the brewery after going to a Blue Jays ball game at the Rogers Centre across the road. The trees give away the fact that this isn't a recent pic - no leaves here yet!

The height and bright colour make it perfect for a check point Pat.. so those trees are still naked are they :)
I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I would love to tour the brewery!
Very nice. I walked all around that area. I love trains.
My hubs loves that beer.
makes a great 'sign post'! :)
Great beer!
Sounds like it's in a good location to draw business.
I agree... good beer. The last time I flew Porter Airlines you are allowed one free Steam Whistle beer to drink in flight.
Perfect place to go to celebrate a home win!
I'm sure people are attracted this way to visit the brewery!
I imagine that tank filled with beer instead of water
Yup. I sure could find this tower. My beer can go to the others.
I really don't like beer but I'll take the tower!
A Blue Jays game and a Steam Whistle beer after sounds like a great outing, especially if traveling by bus. Fine sign.
I have taken the tour and agree its a tasty beer. :)
Great sign and of course now I want to try the beer!
I love the sign! Very creative and colorful. Re your question: Nope. I used a Canon S95 point-and-shoot. Excellent camera, though.
This is my hot summer's day beer of choice. The sign is nicely visible from the Gardiner, too!
Quite vibrant green. I really should check out the Roundhouse.
I've never heard of that one. We have micro-breweries popping up everywhere in New Mexico.
I always did like Steamwhistle!
love the brewery name. A little funky and a little cute.
Super sign! Good place to see green all year long. ;)
Great signs and I like their logo.
