This is a community garden where everyone works together keeping all the plants healthy and then sharing the results, rather than an allotment garden which is divided up into individual plots. No one was working when I passed by but the beds all looked well-maintained and I think they are going to have a good crop if our weather warms up a bit!

These are wonderful.
A very nice sign and a good idea!
We have no community gardens here...
I really like the idea of working together and then sharing the produce.
Great idea though we have few over here
I recently notice a garden like this right here in central Phoenix. I don't know if it's shared or an allotment garden. I'll have to check that out.
I love community gardens. We have two not far from where I live. Lets hope it stays a little warmer. I hear after today the temps will drop again.
I played too, my WW and signs blog post for this week
that's really neat.
Wow! People will have to actually fight over who gets to weed. :-)
Great concept!
Looks like they are doing a great job too, all looks very green and lush!
Saw something about community allotments on the box the other day; seems a really good idea - practical AND brings people together.
Such a great idea. Allotment holders where some friends of mine garden have grouped together to run one plot as a community garden.
Community gardens is such a great idea. Cities can provide garden space for many people who want to grow their own food and flowers.
Call me an alarmist, but lead polluted soils in urban areas from years of vehicle exhaust is troubling! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Great idea!
Great sign.
Sydney – City and Suburbs

A n ce permanent sign, so it must be a successful garden! I wish we had something similar here - our small back yard is not suitable for much veggie gardening.
I really like the idea of community gardens. Nice sign!
That healthy looking garden seems to have been host to a lot of busy activity. Colourful sign.
Big or small they are a great thing for bringing communities together
these are such a cool idea!
