It's In The Details
Many of the old Annex neighbourhood homes have wonderful detail work on their facades and this one is no exception. In just this one section around the front door we have moulded terra cotta bricks, beautiful grillwork and lovely carved terra cotta. This house was built in 1890 and luckily it has been well-maintained through the years!

Not to mention the lintel across the top of the doorway, it's altogether fantastic Pat, well spotted and a happy weekend to you.
Gorgeous old houses! Brings back memories of living up by Castle Loma, and walking thru the annex every day down to the U - about 40 years ago!
That is such a pretty house. So many details to admire!
Beautiful and fascinating!
... it always is. In life, there's no getting around it.
nothing short of gorgeous!
Such a great work. You don't see much of that anymore.
This is just gorgeous! Hard to believe it's that old - looks brand-new! I'll bet it costs a pretty penny, too!
For something so old it does look in pristine condition, wonderful!
Looks as if it was completed yesterday.
That's a bit of a statement, for sure!
looks so nice but for sure it was renovated

Marvelous.
I like seeing building art like this. It is something that is not seen on newer buildings.
It is very elegant, Pat I like it.
Great details, RedPat!
