Willow
I took this pic a week ago after noticing that the willow trees seem to be the last trees to start turning colour and they are still hanging onto their leaves. You don't see as many of them around as you used to but this one certainly looks happy and healthy.

Looks beautiful Pat.
Chad and Jeremy, "Willow Wait For Me". Always liked that one.
i love them they are at my place too
Gosh I'll say it is Pat! It's a beauty! Is it alongside a river there.. is that why it's looking so lush ?
Love weeping willows. And I agree, there seem to be fewer now than in years past. Wonder why that is. We have a few in our community here and they lose their leaves even in central Florida! This is a fine example of a weeping willow!
such a beauty! we have some water willows here, but they grow tall, then die. we have new ones coming up, but it will be years before they tower again.
That really is a beautiful tree! I don't see willows here at all and they are so pretty.
I guess I always assumed the willow was more of a southern tree--until now.
Hmmm yes it's the same here though we still have some green and yellow on other trees too. So pretty and now I want to re-read 'the Wind in the Willows'!
We had one of them on our property in the country when I was growing up. It was massive. This one reminds me of it.
When it comes to fall colours all trees are not equal.
They are such graceful trees, lovely.
That is a beautiful tree. We have talked about adding one to our farmette.

What a lovely tree.
It is a gorgeous tree, Pat!
There was a monster willow at the edge of our property when I was growing up, but I don't remember if it was slow to lose its leaves.
It looks quite spectacular!
It is beautiful !!
