I admit to having a thing for plastic and bakelite jewellery so this display in a vintage shop in Kensington Market is perfect for me. Give me a great red, carved bakelite bracelet any day rather than a diamond-encrusted one!
Wow, that's amazing - your preferences in jewelry...I know lots of men who'd trade in their wives for you! Nah, just kidding! 'Tis a colorful display for sure!
There is a certain attraction for bakelite with some people. I am one, but not necessarily for bracelets. I'd attract unwanted attention wearing bakelite bracelets.

Save the diamonds! Buy bakelite. :-)

You would have loved the collection I saw at one of our local antique stores last weekend. The pins were my favorites.
I agree with Lowell...
For sure! Lovely picture here!
i love it
Very pretty! I like the reflections too.
I somehow don't think I've heard the term bakelite before.

Hah! You tell 'em.
Well of course, to match your shoes! :) This is a credit card danger shot!
Colorful display.
Nice display!
Lots of choice too!
Your choice in jewelry is very much the same as mine. :)
Reminds me of a candy mountain. Bring on the Mike's and Ike's!
Bakelite? You are a cheap date, RedPat.
Very bright colors;)
