I spotted this fence in front of one of the old houses on St George St that have been incorporated into U of Toronto for use as various administration offices. This house was built in 1888 and the fence looks like it could have been from the same period!

This is one place where you could "fence me in." Nice. I think I should have gone to the U of Toronto.
It's certainly very neat and tidy looking!

A beautiful design and in great condition if they were very old fences.
Pretty design and a lovely fence. Have a happy day!
That would be one well maintained fence if it is from the period.
Oh but what a beautiful one!
looks well
Beautiful, I like the square pillars.
Incredible design, I'm betting it is that old as well. They don't make many like that anymore!
That is a super fancy fence. I like it very much.
I've never understood why anyone would dream of a 'white picket fence' when something as gorgeous as this is an option.
The fence is absolutely wonderful and those houses are incredible! I would love to go inside.
Some of the older structures and fences are more appealing.
That is a neat fence! I had an office in one of those old houses as a grad student 40 years ago!
Elaborate.
Very ornate!
Love the buildings and fence.
Beautiful ornate fence
Looks very beautiful!
Looks pretty, both the fence and the great buildings.
Perfectly kept and still magnificent!
Oh that's just fabulous Pat, what a find! If it is the original can you just imagine the change in passers by over the more than one hundred years, love it!
A fancy and classy fence, indeed!

I like this fencing.
The fence, yes. But both the houses, too (minus the a/c unit). And that Gothic door.

Good fence, iron !!
