I agree with José, the remodelling has been beautifully achieved, it's a really attractive building Pat. We haven't had trams in Perth for so long I didn't realise the amount of overhead wires that were required.

'7 stories of condos were built above the church', that is a shocking sentence, but the resulting building it is not bad at all!
It is lovely. I can see where people would love to live in the condos. I saw the wires and then I looked for the streetcar tracks. Every convenience has a cost. However, I would rather have wires than live like they did two centuries ago. Thanks for sharing.
Like your photo contrasting the architectural styles. You managed to get more wires in your post today than I did despite shooting the wires leaving Oahe Dam power plant. But I'll bet I've got more voltage.
