Better Living At The EX
Not all of the buildings on the Exhibition Place grounds are vintage. This is the Better Living Centre which was opened in 1962 and is one of several Modernist buildings found there. It was originally used to showcase cutting edge consumer goods during the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) but like most of the other buildings on the grounds it is now used primarily as an event space.

I like those clean, modernistic, curving lines. It's a beautiful structure.
...I may have seen this one when it was new.
Gosh this couldn't be more different from the Horse Palace Pat.. I quite like the curves 😊
Hello, it is a beautiful modern building. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
It sure does look modern
I like the building's rounded edges
Have a great day!
What a contrast! This is nice, but I am a little partial to the vintage buildings.
I'm not sure why but, that "House of the Future" that used to be at Disneyland years and years ago popped into my head. I guess I was expecting that futuristic devices would be on display inside.
It certainly looks a lot more contemporary.
As soon as I saw this building I thought you were at a church in my home town!
Vintage, to be sure.
Mid Century modern!
I like it, it definitely looks futuristic from a 60s perspective.
This building looks like it was heavily influenced by the Prairie Style architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. But this is obviously not a Wright building.
Muito bonito e elegante, formando juntamente com a natureza, uma bela paisagem.
It is a nice looking building. Too many buildings from the 1960s are Brutalist, which is my least favorite style. The architects were wise not to try to be too trendy.
