Hello There!

In many parts of Ward's Island you are wandering on very narrow tree lined streets and it is easy to forget that you are so close to downtown Toronto and then you walk out to an open space like this playing field and there it is - the CN Tower peeking across the harbour. I'll show you the 180˚ view tomorrow.

Well, with the big city so close, parks like this are a blessing!

...looks like you are a hop, skip and a jump away.

What a view! I love seeing a skyline of buildings in the distance.

Great view! I remember that on clear, low humidity days, it was possible to see the Tower from spots near my home growing up.

That’s quite magical. I think that about big mid-city natural parks, where you can walk on the paths through trees and forget for a little while about the the nearby city streets and bustle. Your island is even better ...worth the extra effort to get there I am sure.
