Toronto's Greek Town is found on the Danforth as this banner tells you. Even the lampposts have Greek stripes on them along this stretch of Danforth Ave. In the summer there is a huge festival where the street is closed and millions of people come out to eat and enjoy entertainment.

I bet that festival is so much colourful fun Pat.. not to mention the delicious food and music ✨
I have never been to any of the festivals. I am thinking that this should be my year to attend.
Dolmades, souvlaki, spanakopita....mmmmm. I bet you can hear shouts of "Opa" when that festival is going on.
There's a Greek festival here, but I never seem to get to it.
Hello,
Sounds like a fun time. We have a Greek festival here too. Enjoy your day!

An interesting place!
The joys af a big city! We like Greek food (when we can find it).
Like seeing ethnic neighborhoods showing pride in their heritage. Bet there are good Greek restaurants here.
I should love to visit such a festival.
sounds like a fun time
Sounds like a good spot to have some good eats.
My SIGNS, SIGNS
We have a large Greek Orthodox community here in the D.C. Metro area that sponsors a very popular festival here every year. Lots of great food, among other things. :-)
I've been there and enjoyed visiting that suburb.
I don't think I've seen a Greek restaurant anywhere in this vicinity, much less a Greek population...
I am seeing more towns and cities begin to use those kinds on signs on the streetlight poles - I like them! And I really like this one - blue is my favorite color.
Have a great day!
It seems there must be a lot of Greeks in the area :) the food festival should be great.
Interesting and that street looks just like here! Snowbanks galore!
