This pic was taken a couple of weeks ago during one of our mini blizzards that were so common this winter. The Dark-Eyed Junco and the House Sparrow had managed to push some snow away and get at some seeds to help them keep warm!

I am so glad the snow is beginning to melt.
God bless everyone who feeds the birds!
Have a great weekend!
It's nice to see these little critters surviving what winter has to throw at them.
That missing profile photo is so strange. One thing I used to love about technology was that it always worked so logically. In recent years, that hasn't been true. Now things seem to happen and there is no explanation at all.
Hello, I am glad the birds found a spot to sit at the feeder. I feel sorry for the wildlife when there is so much snow. Great capture! Thanks for linking up and sharing your post today. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
the birds found the seeds;-)) Have a nice evening
Lovely to see the birds at the feeder in the snowy weather …
Nice photograph.
All the best Jan
Glad it was a couple of weeks ago. Really! It's time for spring.
They were determined to get to the seeds and they did. Now you can press the melt snow button and make them happy birds. :)
They seem to be wondering when spring will turn up.
From William Kendall's blog today it appears spring may be making a sneak appearance in the Northland.
You and the birds have had a tough winter. This photo says it all.
Lucky they can find food in these conditions.
Oh sweet determined wee birds Pat, hopefully spring is well on the way πΌπΈπ·
The poor Juncos. Hope they get plenty of food in the cold weather.
Yep, pretty sure the weather will never stop their hunger!
I'm ready for a let up in temperatures, but slowly. There are reports of flooding nearer you than me.
