These Goldfinches were enjoying a bite to eat on a cold winter afternoon. It is always a sign of spring for me when they start to get their yellow feathers back which may be a bit later than usual this year since it has been so cold.

They're very pretty.
Well done Pat. Feeding the birds over the winter helps them survive.
Hello,
Love the cute Goldfinches, I miss feeding the birds. Great photo! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend.
Oh, they are absolutely wonderful birds!
Such pretty birds. I only see them at the Desert Botanical Garden. I never see them around town.
Our Goldfinches have yet to put in an appearance,. They might show up in a few weeks. Always good to see them.
That is a lovely picture of a favorite bird. I can't wait to see your beautiful springtime pictures Pat!
Pretty birds enjoying their snacks.
Wow real beautiful birds on that feeder.
Alegres visitas tienes Pat.
Buen fin de semana.
Un abrazo.
Ours get dull colors here too and we are starting to see more yellow. Love having a nice finch feeder to watch the birds!
What are you feeding them?
They are really enjoying the food. I hardly never see one alone.
Isn't it wonderful?! Mine have tinges of yellow, too!
They all together look pretty!
A cute gathering!
That's a lot of birds on one feeder! I saw a little flock the other day, those bright feathers really give them away.
Fabulous photo of the birds. I have a bird feeder and seldom see more than one or two birds at a time. Love the photo.
It's a feast!
