Ha, the squirrel has to find his food elsewhere.
The Black Squirrels are pretty, we do not see them here.

Squirrels are great at solving complex problems, but this squirrel may have met his match.

I can see those wheels a turning. He's making a plan. What a great shot.
Maybe the birds will scatter some seeds down on the ground! He sure is a cutie!

Sometimes they figure out a way to get the seed but that does look quite a challenge.

I put up barriers for my strawberries, too. But I feed my "Peanuts" walnuts (otherways they throw a fit and destroy what they can - they taught me well to serve them ;-)...)
He'll figure it out.
