Another mural found in the lower town in old Quebec City, this one shows what we might have seen going on behind the walls of the building in the past. What a wonderful trompe l'oil mural. It does fool the eye as it look like all those people really are there, but of course, they are only painted there.
Murals like this bring forgotten daily life back into view, even when the real gates stay closed
