I have become totally fascinated with all of the huge icicles there are around this year. This house had a particularly large group of them. I don't remember a winter like this one.
They look great, RedPat... from here. We had a cold summer in Germany, an early winter and now a coolish summer with even rain and all (yippieeee to that and films to come) - crazy weather everywhere...

This great looking old brick house needs more insulation under the roof. Ice dams can do major damage to the roof and walls.
TFG had the same thought as me.
At least there's a porch roof to shield anyone who's around when those big icicles fall.

I have had a few big ones this winter. Opened two windows on the second floor and hit them with a long tree pole.
Gosh, we rarely see icicles here any more. They're spectacular.
