Finally Some Flowers

We had a bit of a warm day a week ago so I went out looking for some spring flowers and found a patch of Winter Aconite in someone's front garden. My Mum always had large swaths of these in her garden and they often emerged from the snow with buds ready to open. These ones just needed a bit of sunshine to get them opened up. It was nice to see some colour at this dreary time of year.

Oh, how lovely! Gorgeous yellow. Nothing is blooming in our yard yet.

Very pretty.

It's snowing outside this morning.

The first spring flowers are always a treat to see. Usually our first flowers are the Pasque flowers. They sometimes come up through spring snow,

Very nice! Color after a long, dreary winter is a must.

They're pretty. I'm not sure I've seen any here this year.
