This is just one section of the large collection of microphones in the CBC Museum. These ones are from the 1930s through to the 1950s. I love all the details in the metal and chrome work. The radio and mike down in the right corner are from the late 1930s.

It would be fun to hear the same couple of sentences spoken through each mike to hear the quality of each.
