No Blizzard

We were supposed to have a major snow storm last night and this morning but all we got was this and the sun is out now. This pretty walkway is on the U of Toronto campus and had always been rather non-descript but a few years ago it was planted up with lovely birch trees and so I planned on a beautiful "snow on birch tree" shot today. It is still a pleasant path even without the snow and that is part of University College ( the oldest college at U of T) visible in the distance.

This University is fantastic, many amazing sculptures, beautiful architecture and nice places if you want to go for a walk.
One day I want to visit this place. ;-)
Have a good weekend!

I like the look of the old building at the end of the path. You might have chance to capture a snow-on-birch photo in a couple of days. :)

I agree. The tree lined path with the University College building in the background is a great image even without the snow.

Very nice indeed.

This is great. I love the university buildings, and you placed the walking student at just the right spot for the image. Nice one.

That was a tantalizing title! So disappointing when you plan a good shot and then the weather doesn't cooperate, or the thing you were going to photograph mysteriously disappears overnight.
But I like your little dusting of snow.

Looks like and old campus... a fine place to take a jaunt.

It looks very chilly, nonetheless! Such an interesting campus.
