Mars, this wonderful retro breakfast restaurant has been in business at this location on College St since 1951 and the interior looks the same now as it did then. Famous for their muffins and all day breakfast menu, it is like stepping back in time to eat at Mars!

I prefer these places rather than the franchise bombardment we get where ever we go.
It is still around?!! I keep forgetting to check whenever I am in that area (which isn't very often.)

Since I can enjoy breakfast at any hour, this place would be a hit with me.
I used to step off the streetcar when I lived on Bathurst, just so I could have one of their blueberry muffins.
