Chinatown Shopping

This is one of the many well-organized grocery stores to be found in Chinatown where you can find all types of exotic produce spread out along the sidewalks. The variety available and the reasonable prices certainly put the main-stream grocery stores to shame. I was there during the week but on weekends the area is packed to capacity with people doing Dim Sum and then their shopping!

Chinatowns provide great photo ops. This is a cheery shot.

I would make a weekly visit there, for sure. Can't get those kinds of fruits and veggies in the big chain supermarkets!

Re your question: Yes, I used "Posterize," and bumped it up to 7 or 8, can't remember exactly.

Have a great weekend!

I have heard of Dim Sum from my husband who often visit Hong Kong during his time in the navy.

The only China Town I have been to is in San Francisco and i enjoyed it tremendously. Your market looks like my kind of place.

I agree with Wayne - Chinatowns provide great photo ops. I never miss taking photos in Victoria`s Chinatown, every trip I do.

I think during the week is the best time Pat, I can imagine it would be filled to overflowing at the weekend. The produce looks scrumptious.

Your market is making my long for the Asian market I used to visit way over on the east side of town. I haven't been in a couple of years because it's so far away. I'll have to make a point of going. And, Dim Sum sounds like a wonderful option too! The best Dim Sum I ever had was in San Francisco.
