In The Bamboo Grove
This is actually an indoor grove of mainly bamboo plants found in an atrium connecting an older building at U of Toronto to a new one. The planting area climbs up a few flights of stairs and there are several small seating areas amongst the plants. You can literally smell the fresh air when you are seated there.

It's quite a pretty location. I must have overlooked this when I've been there.
That's funny! Toronto and bamboo are not two words I automatically think of as going together. :-)
Indoor bamboo is quite unusual here, but I like it a lot!
Love it - the softness of the plants, the modern gloss and the old stonework.
Wonderful!
lovely nature
I love that garden atmosphere.
I like this, it looks like a great spot to sit and take everything in...
I love Bamboo.
Very tropical looking!
That is very clever design Pat, I think uni students need all the 'relaxing atmosphere' they can get :)
Really beautiful. I have some bamboo in my back garden but it is potted. They grow like crazy and take over everything.
What a neat thing to have these peaceful serene areas on the campus. This and the chapel in your later post both .
This is quite charming and do I spy people NOT wearing winter coats? :-)
If the bamboo planting makes the air feel fresh, then I am all for it.
Nice way to create indoor oxygen as well as a comfortable environment.
Such a lovely place it is.
The garden has a beautiful view ;))
Oh it is very appealing.
