And other things that I like!
The mysteries of nature! They are trying to conserve energy because they know the white "stuff" will soon be here.
I agree, and funny how their little neck doesn't get sore too! They are a lovely, fun critter to watch.
Apparently, the other leg has fallen asleep too.
I think Kate is right, it is one of the mysteries of nature.
Some zzz now and then is good...
I don't understand how they can sleep standing at all--on one leg or two. :-)
Their necks are pretty flexible too!
Ducks are such funny creatures. I love the way they tuck their heads into their back feathers!
Somehow ducks always look sweet, sleeping or not! :)
great ducks
yes, I keep falling into the pond!ALOHA ComfortSpiral (\__/)(='.'=)(")_(")
Cute shot. I need some zzzs!!!
they make me smile. :)
It ceases to amaze me that they can do that sleeping on one leg without falling over. Great shots!
Someone once told me that when they stand on one leg like that, one side of their brains are asleep while the other is alert. I have no idea if this is true, though. ;)
I'm so tired these days Pat I think I may be able to sleep on one leg too :)
They look content enough!
Siesta... :)
