House With Carving

This house is on Queen's Park and was originally a private home when built but is now part of St Michael's College at U of Toronto and is used for offices. You can see yesterday's carving to the right of that fabulous turret. I love the little balcony above the corner turret. And that very old little fence.

So beautiful. Love it. I am always glad to see how these houses are still standing.

What's not to like? Everything is superb about this structure! I would love to wander about all the nooks and crannies! The balcony and turret caught my eye, too!

A castle. Notice the stair windows on the left side. Must be a magnificent staircase inside.

Such interesting architecture. Sad that they don't build places like this anymore.

What a charmer! If I were going to pick an older home, this might be the one.

How pleasant it would be to sit out on those hight-up porches and watch people go by...or read...or drink coffee or tea.
