Well, that's quite depressing even if there's a lot of truth in it. But I think that Toronto tends to keep things in good shape, right? I sure wouldn't want to look at this every day, though.
I have to agree with Lowell, this part is quite depressing.

When artists go preaching they often show their childish cultural background...
It's a sad world we live in Pat and getting sadder every day! This group of artists have expressed their concerns in the only way they know how, c'est la vie oui! I was in the art gallery today to keep out of the heat and honestly some of the art in there I wouldn't pay a dollar for :)

I have to admit, it's not the happiest mural subject. I can see why people would complain, but it is the truth!
What a sharp contrast between the mural and the idyllic image behind!
That's sort of life in Paris. Well, I'm exaggerating of course, but there's a hint...
The neighbors above the mural probably weren't the complainers. They can't see the mural from their house. The subject is a bit sad with the painting of a man in a gas mask due to air pollution.

Well, I don't know. But I sure like the looks of that spruce tree between the house and the satellite dish.

I agree with Lowell. It is scary to look at but is the truth.
Given that I am not super-excited about a lot of murals, I'll bet you can figure out where I would be on this one.
It is quite haunting, but the artwork is stunning, but the subject matter is a bit disturbing!
We must take better care of the environment, it's for the good of all.
