I hadn't seen Mr Peanut in a long time and then one evening there he was on a illuminated billboard advertising new peanut butter. It was like seeing an old friend after a long time away!

and few things do make sense
Are you nuts? ;)
YES! Old friend!
Oh my goodness, I haven't seen him in ages. You are right, it's nice to see him again.
Welcome back, Mr. Peanut! You have become a beloved icon in modern culture. That is nuts, I know, but I'm sure you don't mind.
Oh that's a nice.
Mm mm! I love peanut butter!
Welcome back to Mr Peanut. Have a happy day!
Great capture. Now that you mention it I don't think I have seen him lately either.
I don't think I've ever seen him "for real"!
He must have moved north. :-)
Funny. THere was a store near us in Toronto that had a big Mr. Peanut on the side. It was an interesting mix of things and once a year they had a great "tent sale". Can't remember the name of it though...
I haven't seen a sign like that either in a long time. I have no idea if stores here stock that kind... I'm usually picking up Kraft peanut butter.
I saw Mr. Peanut in an ad yesterday, and thought much the same as you. Haven't seen him in a while. Fun sign.
i hope they keep him forever.
Glad you found Mr. Peanut!
Indeed a famous old sign now with a new life.
Oh wow, it's been ages since I've seen him too! Nice find.
May be if more of us concentrate on the Peanut, the price of Almonds would come down :)
Have a Happy Day, Pat!
Peace :)
Peanut butter always makes sense to me Pat :) Excellent fun find!
Hello Mr Peanut! I am a huge peanut and peanut butter fan!
Peanut Butter is my favorite food. Really, I'm not sure I could live without it. It does make sense for Mr Peanut to branch out ... he already has the vital ingredient ;>)
Welcome back, Mr Peanut!!
