Theme Day - "Look Down"

The July theme day for the City Daily Photo Blog community is 'Look Down'. We all tend to look up but might be missing a few things along the way. This is the view down from a roof into a small space between buildings with the stairs on the left making such a cool pattern.

Well spotted Pat, super composition for the theme,
p.s. thanks for the info on the Humber River floods, it's a shame it takes a tragedy like that before the potential for danger is realized.

Excellent shot! I like that there is a tiny garden placed in this tiny space too!

I was wondering how you got up on the roof? It looks like a gate to the outside on the right, so one would not be trapped in that space or have to run back up the stairs. :)

Interesting picture, but it is making me a little dizzy! Good choice for the theme.

I've been looking down quite a lot this evening--had to clean up a mess I made cleaning the chain on my bike. :-)

Good pattern, but . . . RedPat! . . . did you stand that close to the edge? My stomach churns . . .

I also like the pattern from the stairs. I like to look up mostly, but looking down is good too! :)
