This is the entry point into one of the many ravines that run through Toronto. This path had been closed for most of the summer while work was done to provide drainage and to fix the fencing along the side of the ravine where the land becomes quite swampy - the dogs all love that part! It is open again now and I was surprised last Saturday that the leaves haven't started to turn yet - will keep my eyes open for the autumn colours.
Taking part in Good Fences. Click HERE to see more fences from around the world.

Color here is spotty.
Nice place in the city!
A popular place for walking/biking, no doubt.
wow, this looks so green and summery! Once they start to turn, it will be pretty spectacular.
Lovely place to relax
It is odd that the leaves haven't turned yet, but hold on to the green for awhile because soon there will be spectacular color but followed by too much white!
Oh, how green it is. Our leaves have turned color or mostly fallen now. Looks like a fine place to walk.
Looks like the tiniest bit of colour there Pat.. bet if you go back a week later you'll get a surprise!
Yes it still looks as though summer is with you! Lovely area to walk!
Hello, it is very green there, looks like a lovely path for a walk. Happy Thursday, have a great day!
I want to ride my bike down into the ravine. Or, I can walk. Are you going to show us the ravine? Perhaps?
That is a pretty spot. Our leaves appear to be at their peak right now. I've been taking a lot of fall shots.
Is it really still so green? Amazing!
Just gorgeous!!!
very thick and green!
Still looking for significant color here, too. May come this weekend.
Spent lots of time walking the ravines when we lived there 40 years ago.
We have colors in the Virginia mountains!
That is awfully green for this time of the year. Let's take a walk in the ravines.
A trip worth walking!
Looks like a nice path for a walk. It's good they repaired the fences. Do go back and photograph the fall colors to share.
I miss my Toronto! Summerhill subway station!
