A Wooden Mural

This 3-dimensional mural carved in wood is found in the lobby of the Vets Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The artist was Sigg Buhler and it was done in 2008 but I could find no other info about it. The main subject is a nurse and she is surrounded by scenes from past wars.

Let's just appreciate the beauty and workmanship. Understanding it is asking too much.
