Towers In the Trees

This shot really gives you a good idea of the huge number of trees in Toronto. Those apartment towers are on a busy main street in the north west part of town but from this angle look like they are in a forest. I've always liked them - they were designed by Uno Prii and built in 1969. I am a great fan of the quirky towers he designed here. Check out my label below to see more of them.

I think it is an unusual sight to have both nature and man-made objects seemingly clustered together. Great photo technique of yours.

Those apartment blocks show the extent of urban growth in the Toronto area. These buildings contribute to dense population concentrations.

They do stand out. It's that background that also catches my eye. Looks like the Escarpment, so it probably is.

I'm intrigued by the middle one as it is white whilst the others are cream?
Great shot!

Used to live in an apartment in East York and from the balcony one would have thought it surrounded by a forest.

They certainly stand out among all the trees. Nicely done, Pat!

Your photo makes me think of some long-forgotten sci-fi movie.
