I can't remember what the building on this spot was before but this nice modern home has sprung up recently. It is quite a contrast to the typical Annex style that you can see beside it but I like it.
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I think the new building is quite beautiful and actually fits in nicely with the neighborhood in terms of size and colors. On the other hand, it's obviously a newcomer to the area and it might have stayed a little closer to the traditional for the sake of the neighborhood.
Aw, heck, it's pretty cool. Would love to see the inside. Go knock on the door and tell them Lowell wants you to take photos of the interior. And then ask for a cup of tea. Tell them if they're very nice, you'll even post the pictures on your blog.
Gosh it really is different and yet it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb! I like it too, would be interesting to hear what the neighborhood thought 😀
Hi Pat 🙋 Thanks, we're fine. Here again. We have had a summer of many trips. We are already quiet at home. I have a lot to tell. Beautiful facade. Besos.
I am somewhere in the middle. On the one hand, if one doesn't look too closely at the block, it fits in. But, when looking closely, it sure isn't the most attractive structure I have seen recently.

Interesting, Pat
Hello, I like this new modern house. Very pretty. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
...you'd think that they could have come up this a bit nicer.
As a Toronto wedding photographer, I love the picture.
Completely different, but I like it!
As infill goes, I've seen worse. This doesn't stick out as badly as some monster sized ultra modern infill projects I've seen.

OK?

I like it's modern lines and I'm amazed at how well it blends in with it's neighbors.
I like it too, but I like the other ones more. Nice photo.
I do, too. I don't like flat roofs, if that's what it has. But I do like the large open windows.
A nice juxtaposition of the old and new.
I wonder if the residents ever think outside of the box. ;-)
The colors match, so it does not look out of place. I like it!
You've got a great eye Pat for picking out some interesting houses, I like this one. I like it because it's different yet still blends in.

Besos.
A bit odd, but I do like it.
I like this style, Pat.
I like it too ... infill always seems like a good idea and it really doesn't detract from the looks of the neighboring home at all.
I do enjoy how they blended the new with the old, if one just glanced at it they might miss the difference in age and style!
