Multipurpose Bench

A local park solved the problems of seating and containing a playground by building this two-sided bench which wraps around a playground. There is no way that the parents will run out of seating and it keeps the dogs on their side of the park. Looks good in the snow too!

It looks really good in the snow, which is important. I just asked Lois Anne if she wanted to go sit on the bench for awhile with a cut of coffee. She very politely said "No, I don't think so, but thanks for asking." :)

What a great idea. I like the way it looks all covered in snow. It's like a little pathway to follow.

That long bench makes a great pattern in the snow.

A smart solution. Looks like there is plenty of room to sit if you don't mind the white stuff. :)

No bum marks in the snow on the bench. I wouldn't sit in the snow either.

A great idea! I can picture it in the summer full of people, kids, dogs, ice cream cones..

A beautiful long bench. Why is nobody sitting here? :-)

Looks like you have as much snow as we do!

Wow, that's a lot of seating room and it serves as a fence too!
