Turret In The Annex

I love the old homes in the Annex neighbourhood with all of their lovely porches and turrets. This large semi-detached home has a very interesting turret since the turret itself has a little dormer in the front of it. I'd love to see the inside to see how that looks. The other nice thing about these big semis is that each half is usually quite different from the other as these two demonstrate so well. Originally built as single family dwellings many of these homes are now divided into apartments although there is a trend to return them to family homes.

Gorgeous old home. I would love to have my quilting room in the top of that turret. The light must be fabulous as well as the view :)

This place is huge. I can see why it would make a set of apartments.

Fine, old homes like this are often in great demand. I have always liked the look of red brick.

Very unusual. A dormer in a turret? The architect (or owner) got carried away.
