When wandering through the Yorkville neighbourhood I spotted this scene in the front garden of an old Victorian house. I love the contrast between the carved terra cotta head on the wall and the angular bronze sculpture out front!
Yes! Lovely capture of it too. I've been spending lots of time with my grandchildren this month, even took a week vacation since my grand-daughter from Alabama is staying with us, and we've been discussing this very topic. They are really getting into their art and various styles of lighting/shading and such too.

Yorkville is all about contrasts. I was there Saturday for the first time in a long time.
Gosto desta escultura, aproveito para desejar um excelente mês de Julho.

Quite a difference!
Your photo is a fine contrast of traditional and contemporary, also light and shadow. Yes, I did know about Lowell. We will all miss him.
I'd call that art from two different eras.

I agree with what Sharon said. Nice find, Pat!
Good catch! It's always fun to find something like this within a single frame.
awesome article..
thanks for sharing :)
Beautiful contrast indeed.I like that.
Well spotted Pat, such a difference between old and new, both excellent in their own way ✨
A big contrast indeed, two different "worlds".
Estilos que se acompañan a través del tiempo Pat.
Un abrazo.
