I was out for a walk and passing by a fountain that was undergoing some maintenance when I heard a lot of birds tweeting away. It turned out to be a flock of Cedar Waxwings who must have been thirsty and were taking advantage of some water left behind by a rainstorm. As I pulled out my camera they all took off except these two. Such elegant looking birds to be walking about in this messy place!

Hello,
The Cesar Waxwings are beautiful birds. Great sighting! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, wishing you a happy weekend!
They are probably thinking "what got into them?"
Such lovely birds. You caught a good moment,
I love these birds and called them elegant just today! They were thirsty though! heehee!
Waxwings they are. Never knew they lived in the city.
Love them;-)
Never heard of these birds but they were very nice to hang around while you took their photo. :)
Elegant as you show them too, P!
They are pretty.
I love Cedar Waxwings. They're active around here these days as berries ripen.
Pretty birds. Thanks for sharing.
They look stunning indeed. Beautiful birds need also a drink.
I do not see many Cedar Waxwings here - I enjoy seeing yours!
