After The Snowfall

The day after a snowfall is a wonderful time for a walk. This is the view looking down to Davenport Rd from the top of the stairs leading up to Casa Loma. And you can see down along Spadina Rd leading eventually to Lake Ontario.

In the city it looks beautiful until the salt goes down. In the rural areas the beauty last a bit longer.

Cold, just cold over here (knock on wood!).

Looks great. In Katowice Poland we do not have any snow this season.

Beautiful view!
I have been enjoying your wonderful images for so long, I am beginning to recognize the scenes - I knew that was the view from Casa Loma before I read your description!
Have a blessed day!

Growing up in Illinois, that used to be a favorite time for me. The ordinary city sounds were muffled by the layer of snow and it seemed like you had the world to yourself.

Fresh snow is transformative. Too bad that freshness doesn't last.
