A Cool Facade

This is another building by architect Uno Prii built in 1965 on Avenue Rd not far from the Annex neighbourhood where a lot of his apartment buildings are located. It is nice that almost all of his buildings have been well maintained through the years and many have heritage protection.

HIs buildings are truly beautiful and deserve protection. I wonder what the units look like.

Architect Uno Prii had a unique sense of style, simple, functional, and beautiful.

Interesting style, Pat.
Like the contrast with the tree too.

Beautiful decoration on the side, and I like that each apartment has its own balcony!
Have a great day!

Has that international look, if that's what it's called.

Before I scrolled down to the text I thought this looked very 60's. Don't think it's International Style. That's very plain and rectilinear, no ornament at all.

How nice that this one has been well maintained, too. In addition to the design it keeps them looking surprisingly fresh.
