Autumn is such a busy time of year for squirrels with things to be harvested and buried and nests to be winterized. This good looking black squirrel was rummaging in a lawn full of leaves and did come up with some sort of treasure that he ran off with to hide away.

Squirrels like to stay indoors and keep warm during the cold winter months.
Nice picture.
Great photo! I like the black and orange contrast
Have a wonderful weekend!
I wonder if these creatures feel the same stress we do when we have so much to do and so little time. Great photo!
...it's a busy time of year for squirrels.
Hello,
Pretty capture of your Black Squirrel. I hope it has plenty of food hidden away! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.
I always enjoy seeing your photos of these cute black squirrels as they are not found around here.
Lovely squirrel;-))
looking so pretty among the leaves, mine have been so busy too. mostly chasing each other, they are exhausting to watch!! it's a great capture!!
All the food the squirrel collects and then hides, you wonder if they remember where they put it. They are funny to watch though.
We do see squirrels here though not black ones. Great capture!
Yep, there sure has been a lot of dashing around here too. :-)
What a gorgeous squirrel! I saw a black one a few years ago and would love to see one again! Beautiful photo!
