Lunchtime

This black squirrel looks so innocent as it eats a seed from a Maple tree but they can be real pests in the garden as they dig about looking for things and also as they harvest your fruit and veggies before you can. I have given up growing strawberries as I never got any.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

I happen to be quite fond of squirrels. It probably helps that I'm not a gardener.

While these squirrels may be a pest in the garden, they sure are cute, and you shot an excellent portrait of this one having a bite of lunch.

Your squirrel is cute, I like the pose!
They have caused some trouble here, eating things like parts of our car.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend!

They can do some real damage inside and outside a building.

He does look cute but I wouldn't be very happy if he was eating my strawberries.

I guess squirrels enjoy a fresh strawberry every now and then. The gather fast and then take off.

Nice to see something other than Grey Squirrel.

At times when they are cute... then there are times when they are very destructive.

Pity they can't read. You could grow some strawberries especially for them and tell them to keep off the rest!
