Reminds me of my T - he loves that music so I asked him if he wants to have Ingo´s bagpipe. Actually I begged him, he said yes. When I visited the pipe stood in the corner, I asked how it´s going. T forgot he has two missing fingers and hence can´t play it! Life, huh? Main thing... the pipe is out of our home ;-) Ingo has no talent!
I remember a visit on a wet moor in Scotland. You saw nothing but from the hills on the horizon came the sound of pipes and 15 minutes later the band marched in sight while it rained cats and dogs. That sound and imperturbability of the pipers will always stay with me.

The pipes certainly carry a long way off.
I can hear them just looking at your photo.
I like the sound of the pipes - but I wouldn't want to live next door to any of them!
A wonderful sound coming from those pipes. I would be worried about falling down on the icy street.
I love seeing pipers like this. They look great.
Nice looking.
...I love a pipe band!
Now I hear them in my head!
Thought it would be green not red
We have gone to several Tattoos just to listen to the pipe bands. It is a wonderful sound.
Such a lovely and distinctive sound! They all look so festive and happy to be celebrating!
oooh, I'd like to have been standing there . . .
