I am no bird expert so am posting this sweet bird in hopes that someone will ID it for me. I think it is a warbler (Magnolia?) but I'm not sure. It was spotted poking around in the grass along the Humber River.

An interesting bird that I don't recognize. I did a quick Google search and it could be a Blackpoll warbler...maybe. It's cute whatever it is.
Great photo of a pretty bird!
Hope someone can ID it for you (and for all the rest of us, too!)
I could be wrong but I think your bird is a female Red-winged Blackbird.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.
This is a fine bird photo, and I think eileeninmd is right, a female Red-winged Blackbird.
Nice photo of the bird with no name.
Yup... Female Red-winged Blackbird for sure. ~(‾▿‾)~
Nice pic of the bird with no name.
I should have known this one. We have these in our feeders right now. Enjoy your day!
I'm with Eileen! Those females always fooled me!
That is a pretty one.
The redwing is a bird in the thrush family, Turdidae, native to Europe and the Palearctic, slightly smaller than the related song thrush. Wikipedia
I would call it a "Cutie Pie" ;-)
Never came across this bird. Looks pretty!
Nice bird but no idea.
i see you received the correct id. i use to have a pair that came to my feeders, but they have not been around for a few years!!
it is fun to learn about birds, do you have a book? i am always using mine for id's and just to learn more about the birds i know!!
Get the Merlin app. You can put your photo into the app and it will name it. Pretty reliable but not perfect. It can also identify bird calls. I use it a lot.
