Rocky Walk

When I was walking through the U of T campus I couldn't help but notice that there seemed to be large rocks positioned along a lot of the sidewalks. These seem to be a new addition and one wonders if they are for decoration or for security reasons to stop any potential vehicular attacks. It is a strange world these days.

I imagine a bit of both.

These rocks must get in the way of snow removal, but they are visually interesting.

You are probably right about the reason for those rocks. I've seen this done before to keep wayward vehicles from getting too close.

What William said.

We have some down by the coast to keep cars out.

It is a strange world. Let's refuse to be changed by it. But let's hold wonderful compassion and trust in something larger. However, we perceive that. We are the light bringers. That doesn't mean waving crystals everywhere. It means being a point of light. I love you Pat. Thank you for being my daily friend

They are picturesque.

There should be more rocks on the side of the path. Probably corruption.

I agree with William, probably a bit of both.

Rather nicer than bollards and probably better at pedestrian protection. I like the rocks.

In any case, it is a marker you will not easily overlook.

Hello,

They could be for both, decoration and security! Take care, enjoy your day! Happy weekend!
