I haven't seen very many of these bat houses but apparently they really work and the little guys seem to like them. And the bonus is the bats help to keep the mosquitoes in check at night.
Bats are the perfect solution for mosquitoes and other flying insects. We have a bridge over a canal near where I live that is home to a group of bats.

As long as they stay in their own house and not in mine. We had an experience once.
Bats will eat their own weight in Mosquitoes every night, but they do like to live in houses and garages.

Now let's have those here too. But according to an expert, the bats preferred the gravel roof on top of the houses.
