I was wandering along the trail beside the Humber River when I saw this small creek that runs nearby. I was rather startled to see some ice along the edges of it and realized that I haven't really seen any ice this winter. Strange times.
I remember back in the days when we had such things as frosts, how they would stay much longer into the day if they were in valleys. The deeper the valley, the longer they would last.

It's been a warmer than usual winter.
Ice everywhere in my area still, altough it is melting away quickly and that us keeping the rescue service busy.
In general, here in Greece we have a relatively warm winter. It didn't snow a single day in my place. Nice picture.

And we had snow in November, also very unusual...
Yes temperatures are rising everywhere.
I would be even more startled to see that here where this afternoon temps are expected to perhaps even reach 80F.
