Fire Station 344

This fine looking building is Toronto Fire Station 344 which was built in 1910 and was originally Fire Station 23. The building originally housed steam-powered horse-drawn pumpers but is now totally modern. It is right in the middle of a residential area in the Annex and I wonder where the horses were kept.

What a great looking fire station. Back then they built with a sense of style. The horses were probably kept in a stable at the back, but that's just a guess.

A nice building, looks like it could've almost been a house.

Love how they were able to update it and yet keep that early 20th century architectural style.
