This wonderfully carved dragon was spotted in the University College building which I showed you yesterday. It is probably the best of all the beautiful carvings found throughout the building. Once again I have no live creature for Saturday's Critters.

I find myself beginning to hum the song from Pete's Dragon.
Ouch! I just saw that it came out in 1977.
Impressive!
The dragon carving makes a perfect stand-in, full of life and character despite being stone
Not only not alive, but never was. I would need to plan my grip before ascending the stairs.
And that in a public building. You'd be lucky to find that nowadays and such great quality.
Beautiful, RedPat, also the tiles!
That's a wonderful dragon. Dragons mean such different things in different cultures,
It reminds me of the bronze dragon sitting on the handle on the stairs of the hotel I stayed in in London.
Wow!
Fabulous dragon! Although, kinda creepy, don't you think? :-)
