Annex Semis

It is a dull time of year but it is also a good time to take pics of houses before the leaves come out on the trees. I like this pair of large semi-detached homes in the Annex neighbourhood. Each side is so different except for the large arched windows. I like the big porch on the right side but love the little turret on the left.

...dull days in early spring are the best time to photograph many things!

The lack of foliage does have this sight advantage.

What a grand looking place. I wonder if many years ago, this was a single home or if it was always two units.

It is a beautiful building, I would like the windows to match.
Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead.

I'd take a turret over a verandah ANY day! I'd be able to pretend I'm a wizard in my own little tower!

They were always 2 units. That was quite common in the Annex.

This is also a great time of year to see birds before they hide behind the leaves. That is a lovely red brick house with those Romanesque arches.

A beautiful mix, RedPat! I love the color especially. Ours is grey... on a dull day it looks not inviting.
