Snowdrops

It feels like it has been a late spring but I finally spotted some snowdrops last week. They had a warm spot with some large rocks behind them which they seemed to like.

Good find. I thought they’d be done by now.

What pretty little flowers. I bet those rocks help keep the ground warm here.

I've never seen snowdrops in real life. Too cold out here on the prairies for them, I guess. Our harbingers of spring are wild crocuses and pussywillows, although the former is probably an endangered species by now, I would think.

Pretty. They are long gone here.

So good to see these early spring flowers after our long, cold winter.
