Elegance
This is another of the wonderful old apartment buildings along Avenue Rd south of St Clair W. It was also built in the 1920s but several years ago underwent a complete restoration inside and out with some adjustments made to the configuration of the units. This building has heritage protection too.

That is an elegant building with those fine looking bay windows. I wouldn't mind having an apartment in this building.

Heritage protection is essential, yes.
If you live in a block of flats and have to live without a private back yard, a veranda seems to me to be essential. Small enough to sit in the sunshine, breathe the fresh air, drink coffee and read.

Beautiful buildings. They have a 'royal' look to them. This one is even wearing a crown.
