Hockey Playoffs

It is playoff season for the NHL so this sculpture by artist Patrick Amiot was quite suitable when it was displayed outside a gallery in the Yorkville neighbourhood. All the sports bars are happy this week.

I have it on good authority that the hopes and dreams of Leafs Nation shall be torn asunder once more.

He doesn't look happy, but so far the team is looking pretty good.

Best of luck to the Maple Leaf team. Historically they are winners, but this goal keeper looks defeated.

Good one. Lots of hockey fans in Stockholm now. I spotted many yesterday. All here for the Icehockey World Championships.

The team I always root for, Boston Bruins, didn't even make the playoffs.

Will you believe I missed checking blogs?! Yesterday they had hockey on TV here (didn´t watch, though) - the mascot looks tired?
